I tried to make a video for you today. It was a mess of tired dog and coughing handler, so not fit for public consumption.

The guests have left, Fenris goes to sleep. It tires him out.
Saw a jogger down the road when we went out for a tiny walk Monday – I turned around and encouraged Fenris to run homewards. He likes running – but not so much running away from the triggering stuff. We stopped when we were on an ice-free patch in the driveway, at least 30-40 meters from where she would pass the entrance.
Steps to Success
Lazy Leash 2 – Did an indoors round of no-leash click and treat for following me in position. 6 steps, right turns, no problem. He catches on! 6-10 steps outside as well.
Zen 2 – Oops, a little bit back to basics, here. With treats on the ground, just seconds delay, and ‘explaining’ that he had to draw his nose away to get it.
Communication 2 – Oh, you mean when we work ‘Excuse Me’ towards the chest, it means ‘back away’, not ‘jump up on it’! But fast explained and fast understood. Chair, chest, sofa, wall, up to 2 feet space plus.
Relax 2 – 15+20+20 seconds
Focus 2 – 20 sec focus from front.
Handling 2 – Worked paw acceptance; he’s not letting me hold them more than a second or so. Ears and eyes are pretty good. The road salt is starting to really muck up his chest/belly fur. He needs a bath.
Awesome Obedience
Position Changes – Tucked Sit/Kickback stand with a front leg target beside me. Did VERY well, as long as I didn’t make too many context changes. Including successfully responding to _only_ footwork, no need of handsignal for sit! Free-working it on just a target, facing me, was a bit more meh. He was all over the place – but it might have been tiredness.
Heeling – 16 sec sitting focus. 5 beautiful steps outside down the road with great focus.
Other stuff
Playing with ‘Two Up!’ – putting his front paws up on various stuff like logs on our walks.
